RMJM’s search for the best photograph of one of our buildings as part of the #RMJMphoto Instagram competition has reached its conclusion with the winning photograph pictured below. The image, featuring the Zhuhai Shizmen Business Cluster & Convention Centre, was selected from a shortlist of ten images by RMJM architects and will be proudly displayed in RMJM studios around the world. The winning photographer, Henry Kukuwu, has been notified by RMJM and will receive a £250 cash prize.
The winning photograph captures the remarkable shape of the Zhuhai Shizmen Business Cluster & Convention Centre and its dramatic scale is highlighted by a couple, including a woman with a pink umbrella. These individuals help draw attention to one of the monikers given to Zhuhai, ‘the city of romance’. The sensuous ribbon which wraps the building also provides a perfect backdrop to the photograph.
The runner-up prize went to this image of the Champalimaud Foundation Cancer Institute and third place went to this image of RMJM’s Capital Gate building in Abu Dhabi. RMJM would like to congratulate all the photographers who made the final shortlist and thank everyone who took part using the #RMJMphoto hashtag.
