Formed in 1735, The Royal Burgess is the oldest Golfing Society in the world and one of the select few clubs to hold ‘Royal’ patronage.
In 2011 Golf Design Scotland were commissioned to oversee the long term development plan for this famous Scottish institution.
This allows the Club to maintain its place as one of the premier parkland courses in Scotland.
Recent improvements have included new water features, extended tees, renovated bunkers and extensive woodland clearing, giving a prestigious ancient Royal golf club a modern progressive focus.
