Abigail is our Creative Director, a seasoned interior designer who has dedicated 18 years of her career to designing hotels and exclusive residences around the globe. In the process, she has created some of the world’s most glamorous destinations for an extensive roster of international clientele, which continues in Asia as she turns her hands to integrated resorts. Her involvement in Waldorf Astoria Ithaafushi which opened in 2019 has received high accolades, while in 2017 Four Seasons Residence, 10 Trinity debuted as one of London’s most sophisticated addresses.

Abigail's inspiration is fueled by travel and absorbing life's rich tapestry, of colours, texture, form and unique cultural nuances, which often resurface in her work. Abigail has fostered the art of storytelling, to infuse life and soul into the buildings she shapes. Her aesthetic is both sophisticated and modern always embracing the culture and history of the project's environment. As a result, the experience of spaces designed by Abigail is evocative, rich in well-being and always embody a sense of place.

Luke is our Senior Projects Director, he has spent 17 years in design and construction management roles with a proven track record designing and delivering large-scale hospitality and residential projects throughout the Middle East, Europe, Asia and the United Kingdom.

Luke is inspired by the arts and modernist architecture; he creates unique details which he believes define an impeccable guest experience. His love of quality craftsmanship and refined interior architecture is evident in his work.

For Luke, a thorough understanding of commercial and operational issues are fundamental to the success of any design project. He is a highly creative individual that masters complex timelines and frameworks allowing himself to successfully lead end-to-end design projects with a high level of design, technical, procurement and logistic capabilities that steer and manage design teams, sub-consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers to deliver through aggressive project timelines.

Refining any design can often involve exploring simultaneous ideas with our clients until a definitive concept is agreed upon.

Presented as a series of line drawings, presentation boards, 3D visuals, and beautifully crafted fly-throughs, the chosen concept design can progress to the following stages of detailed design.

RMJM consolidates all the information needed for the client to successfully tender the interior packages and receive competitive costs from the relevant contractors and specialist suppliers.

During this phase RMJM visits the project site in order to determine if work is being performed in accordance with our documents, specifications and design intent.

We conclude our projects with a “white glove” installation of all furnishings, dressing each room, ensuring a seamless handover to our clients.
