RMJM established a presence in Turkey in the late 1990s. Over the last two decades some of the most notable projects in Istanbul include the Varyap Meridian, which was the first LEED-certified project in Turkey, along with master planning and designing major developments such as the Mahall Ankara and Batikent buildings in Ankara, and Metropol Istanbul, a mixed-use development which includes the 8th tallest building in Europe.

Alongside designing and masterplanning the G Tower Development, a hospitality project in Istanbul, RMJM Istanbul were directly involved in the project’s interior design. Other interior design highlights include the Grand Pera Retail and Cinema development, of which RMJM Istanbul also designed the facade.
