Operating since 2014, RMJM Shanghai have built upon RMJM’s extensive history in the Asian Pacific region. In China alone, RMJM has designed more than 100 projects, with several garnering international acclaim.
The entrepreneurial and ambitious team in Shanghai are led by Jiehe Qiu, an urban planning specialist with more than 20 years of experience operating in the Chinese architectural industry.
The team have a number of iconic projects in their portfolio, including Evian Town, Suzhou, Ningbo East Core Area and Zhumadian Agricultural Exhibition and Trade Center. In 2019 it was announced that RMJM Shanghai had won the international design competition held by the Hunan Overseas Chinese Town Cultural and Tourism Investment Company with their proposal for the region’s landmark Xiangjian Gate.
RMJM Shanghai’s determination to use their wealth of experience in China, particularly in the area of masterplanning and urban design and to collaborate with other RMJM Studios around the world has led to many of their Chinese clients engaging the team on an ever increasing range of projects internationally.
