RMJM’s search for a commemorative image to mark its 60th anniversary is over after the winner of the #RMJM60 competition was announced on the company’s Instagram page. The competition, which lasted two months, saw images sent in from across the globe from students, graduates, artists, architects and designers as they sought to capture the spirit of RMJM. Talenna Fedrian’s unique watercolour design (pictured below) was deemed the outstanding image and selected out of hundreds of entries. Talenna explained that the meaning behind the image was to ‘always emerge with innovation’ and ‘to go above and beyond the clouds’. The judges were hugely impressed by the concept and remarked on both the quality and originality of the image.
The image, chosen from last week’s shortlist of eight, comprises several landmark RMJM buildings whilst also referencing its 60th anniversary. It will be proudly featured in all 30 RMJM studios around the world. The terms for winning the #RMJM60 competition also include a £500 cash prize which Talenna will receive for her efforts. Talenna, who had previously studied architecture, now focuses on graphic design and watercolour illustration. RMJM would like to place on record their thanks to Talenna and every person who took the time to enter the #RMJM60 competition.
