Zoi is a concept development proposal for a creative mixed use development on the coast of Zeytinburnu in Istanbul. The site adjacent to the coast is developed to include residences, offices, hotel, retail, art, exhibition and leisure space.
The site was previously a military facility and thus has existing buildings on site. Zoi draws upon the history of the site, and recreates a city fabric within it.
Parks, plazas, and various amenities create a vibrant and safe ground floor public realm and re establish the traditional neighbourhood in a safe environment for the residents.
The aim of the concept is to develop a scheme that pushes the boundaries of luxurious living to create residential spaces of the highest possible standard, simultaneously creating a new city centre and a vibrant hub of commerce, art and recreation.
