RMJM’s blog has been named as one of the top architecture blogs in the world. A recent study by Feedspot listed RMJM’s at number 32 in a list featuring the top 100 architectural blogs and recognises the quality and consistency of the posts as well as factoring in a range of other factors. The news follows the unveiling of RMJM’s new blog series, ‘The Other Half of Design’, which seeks to explore the role of women in architecture. The series has been well received across the internet and social media.
When compiling the list Feedspot’s editorial team considered Google reputation and ranking, aggregated traffic as well as influence and popularity on Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media platforms. The list consists of numerous acclaimed blogs and magazines and, tellingly, there was only one other architecture firm that featured higher than RMJM. The list was topped by Architectural Digest.
RMJM’s blog seeks to inform readers of the various architectural projects being won and completed by the company around the world. The blog has also featured a series of in-depth features over 2016 with a special emphasis on heritage and urbanism within architecture. There have also been a number of revealing interviews with RMJM architects and principals. The blog is also seen as being key to the growing support to name the Scottish Parliament as Scotland’s best building of the last 100 years.
The news follows some significant social media milestones for RMJM in September as the company passed 20,000 followers on LinkedIn recently and topped 4,000 on Facebook. RMJM is also currently running a design competition on Instagram, its fastest growing platform, where it has quickly amassed a following of almost 2,500 in just a few months. RMJM’s commitment to a holistic digital strategy and showcasing the work of its many studios across the world is seen as an important element of its continued global success.
