Overview

The reconstruction and upgrading of the Bao’an 1990 project in the old urban Xin’an sub-district, Bao’an District, of Shenzhen, includes a library, a cultural center and a concert hall. The Bao’an 1990 buildings are culturally emblematic buildings that were completed and put into service in the 1990s.

The cultural venues accompanied the people in the Bao’an District for more than 20 years and played an important role in the course of promoting the integration and urbanization of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and form a mature cultural gathering place over the years.

The high-standards of this project not only guarantees the integrity of the concentrated cultural facilities in the old urban district, but also adds more functionality and pertinence in the 21st century.
