Symbion were commissioned to design Standard Chartered Bank’s new headquarters building in Nairobi.
The building comprises 2 wings each measuring 1000 m² with a central atrium. In addition to accommodating the entire headcount for the Standard Chartered headquarters in Nairobi, the building also includes a gymnasium, staff cafeteria and conference rooms.
The central data handling area has special services provisions and the whole campus is provided with landscaped car parking areas and external breakout spaces.
The project incorporates complex Hybrid Ventilation System, raised floors, and a regional data centre.
