Overview

This pre-qualification project consisted of the refurbishment of the interior of the Dafineh Museum, located in the north of Tehran. This four-storey building was originally used as a supermarket and transformed into a museum in its later years. RMJM Arta’s artistic take on the interior meant that the proposal would follow the original architecture of the complex when first built in 1951 while adding the necessary spaces for services required by modern museums.  Simple, yet tasteful and meaningful interventions bring the building into the 21st century with harmony.
