Situated within 2000 hectares of spectacular south island wilderness sits Takaro Lodge, a rejuvenation retreat specialising in the core concepts of the ‘five elements’ – earth, fire, wood, water and metal.
The directors of RMJM Sport were commissioned to design and project manage an extensive, innovative and unique practice facility that embodied the five element concepts.
Collaborating with a Chinese Master, together with a leading Scottish Golf Academy , RMJM Sport created an exceptional practice facility, ensuring a deep sensory experience on every hole.
The facility was opened to widespread acclaim in summer 2015. Together with the development of elite junior golfers, the golf course practice centre will be utilised as a core part of the rejuvenation retreat at Takaro Lodge.
